Not so long ago, we talked about the collaboration between Postcrossing and the Singapore Philatelic Museum. Their “A rat’s tale” exhibit to celebrate the Year of the Rat received many postcards about that theme from Postcrossing members related, which were then displayed as part of the exhibit.
This collaboration was so successful that we repeated the request to all Postcrossers for this years “A Cow and Bull Story” show to celebrate the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Ox. And once again, many were very enthusiastic and contributed with postcards to exhibit.
Mishelle at the Museum sent us some photos to share with everyone:
This exhibit will be on display till August, so if you have the chance to be in Singapore, be sure to pay a visit!

Oh my goodness! One of those postcards I sent! (The one with the orange longhorn) :D
And there is my postcart tto: the first one... I'm glad!
I sent a card and got a nice reply. I'd love to be able to visit that museum. They have a cool gift shop online and it would be fun to shop it in real life :-)
:-) I am in Singapore in April :-) I can visit this museum and tell them I am real postcrosser :-)
Cool exhibition! 8)
This time I sent a postcard. It was sent from Brasil but the postcard was originally from Portugal. I hope someone can see my cow card in the exhibition! (I hope my card arrived safe and they liked it :))
This had to be a post for the "Small changes" topic, but I see that it's already closed. No surprising, since last comments were more criticism than applause. Sorry, but it finally happened, someone messed in my postcard wall, and I'm quite upset.
I receive a postcard, great. I scan the postcard, which implies using two different computers (since my old scanner won't work in the newest computer) and transferring the scans from one computer to another by an USB memory. I register the postcard, and guess what, the sender had already uploaded it. Saves me as lot of work, huh?
Guess that from now on I'll have to register my postcards, check whether the sender has already uploaded it or not, then go to the other computer, scan the postcard, back to the new computer, and hope that the sender hasn't scanned and uploaded the postcard in the while.
Or also I can be a complete jerk and ask in my profile that the senders won't upload the postcards they are sending *me*.
And about the cow/ ox exposition, it would be so nice if there weren't mutilated parts of the animals (i.e. horns). Postcards and art are admirable but exhibiting slaughterhouse pieces is disgusting. I truly hope they're fake.

Thanks a lot for keeping sharing messages worldwild! I've sent postcards there and got a really nice reply, thanks to Mishelle too :)
This is so awesome! I wish I could have sent a postcard to them but cow postcards can be a bit hard to come by :) Don't know where everyone finds them! I would totally love to see this museum-I wish more museums would do the whole postcard/philately thing! :)
The cow head is a bit disturbing..
