How do I send a message to a member?

You can send messages to other Postcrossing members through the Send a message! link on their profile page. You can find it just above the member's About text.

All messages are sent to the recipient's email address. To reply to a message you've sent, the member must access your profile page and repeat the process. In this manner, email addresses are kept private.

Keep in mind:

• Be polite and use common sense.
• Do not send direct swap requests to people who have indicated that they do not want to engage in such activities. You will see a helpful reminder below the subject box when the member has chosen not to engage in private swaps.
• To prevent spam, the number of messages you can send in one day is limited.
