Hey there!

I'm a 17-year-old upper secondary school student from Finland. As a child I always dreamed of writing and sending letters, but I think this is even better. I like writing a lot, and usually for me the postcard's back isn't enough for everything I'd like to say. I'm interested to receive cards about everything I've mentioned in my profile, but there's a bunch of other topics too I didn't have room to write about. I love every card I receive <3

I'd love to hear your favourite travelling memory or dream. You can also tell about your other dreams, memories or anything meaningful to you. It would be great if you wrote something related to the card, if you have something to say about it.

I live in a small village in a countryside with my family, three cats, and a dog. I like reading, astronomy, music, gardening, photographing, chess, baking, everything old and vintage, and much more. I play kantele, a Finnish national instrument. I'm a huge art enjoyer, I like both photographed and painted art. I also like listening to true crime podcasts. If there has been an interesting crime near you, tell me about it!

I like especially war and culture history, but I don't think there's such a thing I wasn't interested in in history. I'm interested in lgbtq, feminism, and human rights history (and future). My favourite artist is David Bowie. I really like music from 60's, 70's, and 80's, and classical music, but I often find myself enjoying such a big variety of music.

My dream is to travel around Europe, to places such as Edinburgh, London, Paris, Warsaw, and Praha, but also some less known places. If you have any recommendations where to go, tell me. I love to think that some day I will go to the places I've received cards from. Hence, cards of the towns of Europe would be appreciated, even if you don't live there.

In 2023 I visited Tartu, and Paris, which I really enjoyed. Before that I hadn't travelled anywhere far away. Geocaching while travelling is great thing to do since you get to see places normal tourists don't see. I love walking around small streets and ordinary blocks, and not around the famous tourist sights.

-Vintage advertisement & propaganda cards (can be re-printed)
-Old poscards
-Self made cards are welcome as long as they are made with love :)
