I'm 41 years old woman, living in eastern Finland.I love travelling and getting to know other cultures and people. Travelled through Europe many times, lived in California and so on. Now I have settled down and have children(6 years old boy/girl twins)and American partner. 1 French Bulldog and 3 cats.
(But I still miss my adventurers.)
I do collect all kinds of postcards that are related somehow to 1940's era ... movies, advertisements, way of life, music,war,homefront... everything from that time period.
BUT!!!! I totally understand it is very rare that people get access to those kind of cards.
No worries, there are other options;
(and I always love to get new hints about good music,movies and books from your country...hint hint hint!!!)
EUROPE; send me cards where you live, I want to pretend I am still travelling through Europe. I love to learn new & see new things so tell me something interesting(I love history).And my 6 years old daughter whispers in my ear that there are Real Castles in some parts of Europe - oh - where princesses have lived!!! Really?
ASIA; I am very interested in Buddhism, and I collect cards related to Buddhism. If you can’t find any, please teach me something new about your country.
AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND; Do you know what are BaaBaa and Googles? :D Well, they are Koala and Platypus according to my son. For some strange reason my son LOVES anything related to Australia and since Baabaas and googles are quite rare here please send us BaaBaa&Platypus pictures or nature images. We are putting them on the wall.

NORTH AMERICA; There is so much to see and learn about USA&Canada. Show me(or tell me) something exciting. I do love native handcrafts and mythology etc.(My son loves RACEcars & monster trucks)
SOUTH AMERICA; Nature&animal cards are highly appreciated. I also dont know much about your countries so please educate me!
MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA; Nature, animals, architecture. I do not know if I am ever be able to visit in Africa or middle east so make me a tourist!
I like my cards stamped (real stamps)and please no envelopes or advertising cards.
