Turning 40 a few years ago was a turning point for me and I'm learning that life is truly about the joy of the journey and is meant to be shared with the people I love and care about the most.
I'll always make time to just look at the stars, watch a sunset, blow bubbles, dance in the rain, make snow angels, play on the playground, splash in the water puddles, laugh like a child, ride a motorcycle, slide on the slip 'n slide, roast marshmallows in a bonfire, spin until I'm dizzy, snuggle with my hubby .... life's about simple pleasures!
Creating with my hands is one of my greatest passions, especially when it comes to art glass. Just call me a mad scientist because it's a fascinating material to work with. And did I mention books?! LOL I'm a voracious reader and devour anything I can put my hands on... Having a small child has lead me down a new path where I find myself looking at life with fascination and new eyes.
As a lifelong student I enjoy gardening, reading, all sorts of needlework, quilting, painting, cooking and baking, people watching, weaving, photography, and much, much more. Perhaps you can pique my curiosity with something new.
