She has been a member for 5 months (160 days).I am 35 years old. I have a 6 year old son who has started stamp collecting (I hope, we've recently bought a stamp album). I used to collect stamps as a child - you can learn so much from stamps. Also, my son is a member of Postcrossing now and usually writes his own postcards (he also likes to draw pictures on them or puts stickers on instead), though I write the address.
I like to receive post that isn't a bill (or boring council/government letters), and have restarted penpalling (think I can cope with more..). You can learn so much from postcards. I know some people on here have a wish-list, but as a relatively new collector, I have no real preference yet, as long as it is a nice postcard.
I have learnt German and if you like, bitte schreib mir in Deutsch (ich habe fast alles vergessen). I also learnt Welsh. I have forgotten French which I learnt in school over half a lifetime ago.
I like gardening, nature, many other things.
I can be found under this username in the forum. I also host the UK x Other Countries Round Robin on the forum. It would be nice to have a few more UK participants.

Don't forget to put the ID on, though I have received two postcards without the ID and the system found the IDs for me very quickly.
