She has been a member for over 2 years (797 days).I am 38-years old and married. I´ve got two children, a daughter (10) and a son (7). We´ve also got two guinea-pigs as pets. I live in Kuopio, a town with about 90 000 inhabitants, rather in the middle of Finland.
Reading is one of my favourite hobbies. I also like listening to music, watching movies and Nordic walking. I collect many things; stamps, bookmarks and of course, postcards. I love foreign countries and English is my favourite language. I´ve also studied Swedish and French, but I´m afraid, I´ve forgotten all about them. I like animals, especially dogs. We´ve had two German shepherds, but at the moment we haven´t got a dog.
I like many kinds of postcards. Of course, all cards that I receive, make my day, but I´d be especially delighted to receive a card presenting:
- dogs (German shepherd or dalmatian)
- guinea-pigs
- fairies, dragons or other fantasy-characters
- Disney: princesses, fairies, 101/102 dalmatians, Lady and the Tramp, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, The Nightmare before Christmas etc.
- an illustration from some children´s book or movie( especially Astrid Lindgren, Elsa Beskow, Roald Dahl, Brothers Grimm, HC Andersen, Wizard of OZ, Narnia, Harry Potter, LOTR...)
- any card related somehow to books or reading
- Johnny Depp/Orlando Bloom
- ladybirds
- London-singleview (not only the sights, but also other London-specialities like a bobby, a doubledecker, a taxi, the underground, a beefeater...), London Eye
- Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA (something typical for the country; an animal, a plant, some famous building or place, the flag, native people, scenery etc.)
I´m also interested in a private swap/trade and have lots of cards on different themes to trade with, so if you have something that might interest me, send a message and let me know, what you are looking for. But I only accept cards from my wishlist in return!
PS: If you´re sending me a card from my wishlist and it doesn´t cost you more, I prefer the card sent in an envelope and unwritten. But otherwise cards are welcomed written and stamped, thanks!
