About Vicki...

My name is Vicki. I am 56 years old. I live on Hindmarsh Island in the estuary of the Murray River (longest river in Australia) where it exits to the Southern Ocean. I live in an area that is part of the Ramsar enviromental area and live on the waterfront.

I have 3 grand-children (14, 12 & 10) who I see daily. I love reading, internet, cross-stitch and I love where I live on Hindmarsh Island. I live in a rural area of Australia and am a member of Hindmarsh Island Landcare. I also am involved through family with St Johns Ambulance, and the South Australian Country Fire Service. I have a small shop in the nearest town of Goolwa and in 2005 won an award for 'Individual Customer Service' from the local community and in 2006 was a finalist. I was a 2007 finalist for the 'Best Business' Award.
