She has been a member for over 1 year (707 days).I am a 24 year old biology student (my minor subject is geography) and I'm interested in all kinds of things related to nature and wildlife. In summer I enjoy hiking (especially in national parks and Norway), running and being outdoors. During the long dark winter I spend my free time reading interesting books, doing indoor sports and practicing knitting ;-) I have lived in eastern Finland for 4 years now because of my studies, but my hometown Oulu is located in the western part of the country on the shore of the Gulf of Bothnia.
It would be fun to receive all kinds of landscape & city views or nature & wildlife related postcards! I'm especially interested in bats (my username Lepakko means a bat in Finnish), mountains, old castles & history, caves, special landforms, volcanoes, national parks, map cards, owls, wolves, cats, rodents, peculiar architecture and Australian & Oceanian animals :-) I'm also interested in stamps. No ad-cards please :-)
If you are from the Netherlands, it would be fun to receive a card presenting wooden shoes, windmills, cows or traditional blue-and-white pottery :-)
I really appreciate it if you find time to write something about yourself, your town or country... or any other subject that comes to your mind! I enjoy reading postcards just as much as I like watching them :-) Hoping to hear from you soon!
